@DrPatrickBateman and others not happy with the wallet, i have a suggestion. Use the slot to PUSH all the cards up to the other end, ten squeeze the plates to fan out the cards, makes it super easy to grab the card you want. there is probably other ways to use it but i found that to be easy.

Personally not a fan of this wallet. It is a bit difficult to pull cards out, especially at first, although after a bit the elastic loosens a bit and it becomes easier. The biggest thing about this wallet is how easily the aluminum scratches. I had it in my pocket with my keys one day and it came out completely scratched up, more than 6 total scratches that are really more like massive gashes. It would be ok if you used it as a back pocket wallet, because then you likely wouldn't have anything to scratch it with, but I'm not sure how comfortable that would be.

The first 50 wallets came in and were shipped out promptly. The next batch of wallets will go out once the vendor starts production again around mid-August. We will stay in contact with the vendor and update the group with any new developments.

HassanSI got a notification that the wallet was shipped to me on the 12th but the tracking number is not working. This is great news! unless I was notified by mistake :/

This is the first time this has happened to me. I've previously ordered 4-5 items and they all came in without a hitch.

No, this is fairly irregular. Occasionally (~2 out of 17 drops, judging by my order history) there will be some snag on the part of the vendor. However, at least in my experience, Massdrop has always been quick to remedy any issue to the best of their ability.

Well, this is all unfortunate. So much waiting and not even sure if we'll get our orders first. I realize this isn't the fault of anyone in particular other than the vendor, but it sure is a little frustrating.

We spoke to the vendor and they are preparing to ship the initial batch of 50 wallets before their holiday season. Once the holiday season is over they will begin production on the remaining orders.
Expect an update from us on 8/1 or sooner if something comes up.

Lots of countries in Europe celebrate a holiday season over the summer. But yes, it sounds like most of the people in this drop will be left waiting twice and again as long as was initially suggested. The guys at massdrop really should have communicated with the manufacturer exactly how many units they'd be able to produce and ship before the drop started, but at least they're being open about the delays.

We spoke to the vendor earlier today and were told the following. They are currently going to be able to produce and hopefully ship 50 finished wallets by the end of next week. After that the vendor based in Poland, will be in holiday season for 3 weeks and unable to manufacture wallets for the duration. After the holiday season is over they will be able to ship the remaining orders by mid-August. We are actively working with them now to try and have as many additional wallets produced in the coming week as possible.
We understand this delay is rather undesirable. If you prefer not to wait for the wallets and want to have your order cancelled, just email us at support@massdrop.com, and we will process the refund right away.
Otherwise expect an update from us on 7/24 or sooner if something comes up.

The vendor let us know that to get the initial batch of 50 out, it would be based on what they had in inventory and what they had materials for. So shipment will depend on style and not necessarily how early a person joined the drop. On our end we will try and make sure if you were the first person to order a style that you get your order first.
