nelsonI have bad news regarding my order:
I am following the updates un DHL page for my purchased item. I am only worried about the pen being "held at customs" as shown on the page. When I buy something sent with USPS, they Always state "customs clearance". I worry because the pen has been sent in a package of almost 1 kg. and County Comm sells them in that plastic tube. My concern is that some paranoid could have blocked my item fearing that it is something dangerous. I see that the pen has reached a lot of customers all over the world without problems, I don't see why they should make problems here but since the 9/11 there is so much paranoia and I am afraid to lose the pen and the money I have paid for it. I have also contacted the Belgian Post but they still don't know anything. They say they don't have control on the package if it's not released from the custom yet.
Do you have any idea if there are documents in the package? And, how come that for a pen which is only few grams, has been sent a package of more than 800 grams? You all make it complicated for the people! Now I am going to lose my pan and the money I paid for it!

erredierreAll four of my Massdrop shipments were using DHL and with 'Held at customs' status at some point during the shipping process. And I received the packages about 2-4 days after that. Probably it's just the case of different terminology being used.

erredierreI think I saw your initial comment about how bad the condition of the pen you received. And now suddenly it was edited. Is there anything that made you change your mind?

fadonmassdropIn the first pic, you can see a small scratch on the up side, in the second, an indentation on the below side. Do you think it's something acceptable, after having paid also 21, 13 euro extra on custom duties? I am going to fight this until they propose me a solution. I am even ready to file a complaint for fraud with the online Police Fraud Squad. First they came to me sending me a message with a proposal of Warranty Replacement, I agreed, then they are completely disappeared and dno't answer anymore to my messages. I am going to post these pics on all visible sites so that people can see the seriousness of this people!

erredierreSorry to see you have had problems with this drop. 21 euros at customs is a lot of money and I feel for you. Sadly this is a trend going on Worldwide now. It is starting in my country soon. We will be paying an extra 15% on every purchase, and probably have to pay Duty as well, making buying internationally expensive. Don't like it, but there is nothing we can do. Having said that, I can't blame Massdrop for it, it is my Government doing it not Massdrop. You should Keep at Massdrop for the replacement though, and it should be put through as a gift this time to avoid having to pay the same Duties again. Best of Luck.
