You know, just for comparison. ;- )
I have 2 of these and the tagine too. They seem to grow mould inside between uses. Anyone else have this problem?

in between uses you might want to try treating these like you would a cooler....i.e. putting some crumpled "clean" newspaper in them...that should keep mold and funky smells from forming....like the buying mgr below said ...if you have mold its probably from somewhere else...or it might not actually be mold.

I had the same problem with my dutch oven, and the solution that I've found – is to leave a gap between the lid and the bottom, so that the air could circulate.
Is there a way to calculate shipping? Sorry if I missed this.

Dang, thanks. Going to pass on this then.
Looking on Amazon, yeah, the 1 star reviews are high at 15%, and fragility is the most common complaint. Either breaking during shipping, or things like a *small* drop cracking the lid. Heavy ceramic's great in a number of ways, but this can definitely be a problem. That said, ceramic over cast iron tends to chip and is heavy, and cast iron is very heavy and not entirely easy to work with.
Where are these Dutch Ovens manufactured? Is it France like some other Emile Henry products?
