Will these be back anytime soon? Need a new set for my teaks I got on ebay that have a crack.

Just an update, just got in the new ZMF Ori suede earpads and listening to them on my TH-X00 with the Palo Santo cups. Using custom 'C' attenuators. REALLY liking the sound on my setup - less bass than my Purplehearts, but with better detail, extension, and smoother sounding highs. The look of suede also goes nice with the Palo Santo wood:

Have not heard any E-MU Teaks, but from what I understand they are more laid back than any of the TH-X00s. Like previously mentioned they are kind of like TH-X00 Mahogany cups but with a more neutral (still not neutral...) and detailed sound. If you haven't already done it, I'd suggest trying out the Lawton Audio D.I.Y. Tune-Up which seems to help some with providing less listening fatigue but mainly cleans up the clarity and detail, and gives better instrument separation. For $45 or less it's one of the best things I've done to all my TH-X00s.

And some songs are simply crazy sibilant no matter what they are listened to on, one such I've found is 'COSMIC DARE' off the Seatbelts Ask DNA album. My Koss KPH30i have never sounded so sharp:
VRacer111Butterfly from the Future Blues album has got some very sharp and piercing sibiliance when it comes to the parts Mai Yamane sings in while using the Teaks.
Such as "you're like catching the day'SSSSSSSS SSSSSSSunSSSSet". Although it's not noticeable on my HE500 that I currently have on me right now.

Got in the Lawton Tune-up and installed it and the Palo Santo raw cups on my second Purpleheart a few hours ago. Back to back simultaneous comparison with them and my Purpleheart (both on stock pads) on the TASCAM MH-8 and I do overall prefer the Purpleheart, though Palo Santo is by no means bad and brings its own nice sound to the TH-X00.
Palo Santo seems more along the line of Mahogany, doesn't have the 'Hi-res' sound or punch of Purpleheart. It's softer, warmer, less clean with less bass/subbass impact. I'd probably put it in between Mahogany and Purpleheart for it's sound signature... Think I'll try the ZMF Ori pads on it, will probably work better on it than the Purpleheart - it could use a pad that will tighten up the detail which also is more neutral and balanced than the Jmoney V3. The Jmoney V3 setup isn't as good on Palo Santo as it is on Purpleheart. The look and smell of Palo Santo is pretty awesome though...

Hi all, if there's any of you that are thinking of selling their original Fostex TH-X00 cups after your E-MU upgrade please let me know. I'm interested in any flavour - mahogany, PH or ebony.

Are those actually the same size and dimensions like the original Fostex TH-X00's cups? If these are the same I might consider buying them since my original Fostex cups have a little scratch.

Would love another drop with lots of different gloss options that will fit my TH-X00's. Will gladly pay a premium for different wood options.

chan_emuHi Chan, any chance massdrop has replied? Would love to buy ebony, zebra, or rose cups in gloss for $100-$120 price wise. Would love to hear if these are going to be on sale soon, or would even buy them from your website.

These look nice. Any chance the company can make a pair of wooden cups for the Audio Technica ES10?
