darkmiller83is a improved version. You can play it like the old one, but have some new components if you want to play a little twisted version... Also, it comes with some lovely player tray. Check out their kickstarter page... I already got my copy 1 month ago and is way better https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/burntislandgames/endeavor-age-of-sail

I kickstarted this game. (It's great.) However, some of the pictures show components are were in the higher pledge than the standard retail version of the game. These being the plastic minis. The only plastic mini that comes in the retail version is the first player crown. The game still comes with lots of components and some nice plastic games trayz that keep everything organized.

I assumed because they were pictured (the plastic player board parts are shown in the second image). I cannot confirm nor deny anything further than what is shown.

CaillteI'm late to the party, but I think this is as @adamhasser said, this should be the retail version. I've noticed MassDrop tends to use KS version pictures rather than retailers so I'm incline to believe this is the case as well.
