turned out to be less convenient than I thought

I'm only able to charge my Galaxy Note 8 a little more than once with the wireless and quick charge ports before the power bank runs out of juice. Using the normal charging port I can charge my phone a little more than 1.5 times. Given the weight and dimensions of the product it's not really convenient to carry this around for anything that lasts longer than a day. I ended up bringing my Anker power bank for a weekend trip to NYC and didn't have to charge it until right before my departure flight. Had I brought the Energizer power bank I'd have to charge it AT LEAST once per day. I've had this for awhile now and only really use it at work when I forget to bring a USB-C cable.

Works well for me. I don’t use the contact charger though because it doesn’t work on my phone case which has metal on its back so hook to a magnet in my car.

Charging speeds are what I expected based on the specs, but the rubber ring has a hard time holding my Galaxy S7. The phone slides out of position easily because the rubber is too recessed relative to the plastic shell.

So far, so good. Does what it says. Fast charging my LG V30 through the usb is certainly slower than the wall plug but not too bad. Wireless charging is a bit finicky. I've had to readjust position a few times to get the phone to start charging. And it's quite slow. I'm not a fan of wireless charging for this reason anyway so I will probably be plugging it in mostly. Good to have around though. Overall would recommend at the Massdrop price. Would not pay full retail for it. Better non-wireless options for much cheaper if that's the case.

Originally a 5 star review, the product looks and feels great and does what it says on the tin. After a bit of use however I must say the wireless charging seems to deactivate way to quickly after you pull your phone away from it and I can't find a way to activate that feature again without letting the charger sit idle and turn itself off. It's rather annoying if you're trying to answers texts or other quick tasks where you could reasonably expect to just be able to put your phone back down. Edit: After owning the product for a few months it over heated and melted the top of my laptop while charging. That's a bit of an issue honestly and I now feel pretty uncomfortable leaving this unattended.

Pretty unhappy with. However I seem to be in the minority. I have several issues with it. 1) does not turn on automatically when load is detected like the other packs I have. button press required 2) turns itself off. I'm not sure if it is timed or the load my phone (Galaxy S7Edge) when connected is too low to keep it on. But I only get a fractional charge unless i come back and turn it on again every 15 minutes or so. This happens no matter if i have it wired or charging Qi wireless. Does not charge very fast if charging from the USB-C. It does not seem to negotiate a high voltage and charge rate properly from any of the 3 USB-C charges I have . All of them are 45W and up. the charge rate from them is no higher than the 10W Micro USB wall bugs. (This was verified by buying a USB digital tester as I could not belive it would be that slow!)

Late reply, but there are plenty of use cases for the Qi charger: 1) it lets you charge a 3rd device or if you're missing a cable for any device 2) charges a phone that has gotten wet or submerged in liquid (my Galaxy S8+ will prevent me from charging via USB-C port until it no longer senses any liquid on the port) 3) some true wireless earbuds/phones can charge via Qi charger 4) some smartwatches will only charge via Qi charger (like my Galaxy Watch) I've actually been looking for a battery bank that can do USB-A, micro-USB, USB-C (in & out) as well as have an integrated Qi charger. Not to mention the fact that it has both QC 3.0 and USB-C PD support, which many battery banks lack. I love that Energizer decided to pack lots of those "nice to have but not necessary" features on a single unit.

It's just a feature, not a mandatory use. It can at least minimize one cable when charging two or more devices at a time.
