Can't you just use a USB A to USB C cable to charge USB C devices with older chargers? I know you won't get fast charging but its better then a dead device. Unless you can't charge USB C devices with older chargers.
If I didn't already pick up 2 Macally bricks from another drop I would have picked one of these up.
