Solid performer.
Very heavy and solid construction. Love the titanium nib that came with the pen. Soft and expressive nib.

Great pen
Great looking pen. It is now one of my favourites. Despite being a relatively big pen it is not very heavy but is not light even. The minimalist design is a perfect fit with the shape and size of the pen. The stone wash finish looks amazing. The nib is also excellent offering great writing experience.

The nib was good. The converter could not catch up with the ink flow (flexible nib required more ink flow).
Patrick_YimIt's not the converter. Unfortunately it's the feed. The Bock nibs used by Ensso are those shipped as a nib-feed assembly. Many fountain pen makers use them, because it allows them to completely outsource the internals of the pen. Unfortunately they can be hit and miss. Sometimes the feed is too stingy, sometimes the flow is too generous.

TherocMaybe you are right. For me, I swap the Ti nib and the feed to a TWSBI Vac700 (vacuum filler) and the ink flow was much better that before.

Probably the best deal in Massdrop Writing's history.

TherocI’d like to hear your opinion about the Ti nib. Which size did you get?
MrSharkbaitOuch. This could get tl:dr. Are you asking about the Ensso nib specifically? Bock nibs in general? Titanium nibs as flex nibs? I'll try to keep it short... It's a Bock nib. Ensso don't give it any special treatment, no tuning, no adjustments, etc etc. There is some luck-of-the-draw involved. It's always good to remember that. That said, Bock nibs are generally good. Ti Bock nibs are pretty much the only game in town. In other words if your pen has a titanium nib, it was probably made by Bock. I got the EF. It has a bit of flex, but I don't really use it as such. I mean I don't try to go broad on the down strokes. Still, it provides a pleasant writing experience. Generous nib size, which is always good. No drawbacks compared to steel. In short I like the nib. My "philosophy" (really sorry for using that word) on nibs is this: Material is secondary, It's the craftsmanship that matters. This is true, even for flex nibs. At least to some extent.

I like the feel of the pen and the nib. The machining of the threads is a bit rough. I expect that this will smooth out with use.

Love the design and the feel of the nib. Sits nicely in the hand.
I only take off a star because the cap does not post and it will roll off my desk since the is no clip. Merely a result of the design.
