Machined from a solid block of aluminum or brass, the Ensso XS minimalist pocket pen is meant to go everywhere with you. When closed, it’s one of the smallest fountain pens in the world. Post the cap to the back and you’ve got a standard-size pen at just over 5 inches long. Because the cap is secured by O-rings, you’ll be able to remove it quickly whenever an idea strikes. The 12 facets prevent the body from rolling across your desk, and the nib—made by Peter Bock Company in Germany—is interchangeable with other nibs, should you choose to purchase them. The brass version will develop a patina over time; clean it with any brass cleaning product if you prefer to keep it in like-new condition.
