Product Description
Designed to be the absolute best-fitting style for men with larger thighs, the Epaulet Wilhelm is inspired by co-owner Michael Kuhle’s own search for the perfect pants. While many pants claimed to have an athletic fit, Kuhle found that, on the body, they looked sloppy and oversized—or too slim on one side and too baggy on the other Read More

Hi guys,  I wanted to update you on what happened with the order for the Wilhelm 5-pocket pants.  Due to unforeseen production difficulties — fabric and trimmings-related — the shipment for these was going to be delayed by a few weeks, making it over a month late.  The orders had to be canceled due to company policies. We hope to feature Epaulet’s beautiful products again and deliver on time to all of our customers.  Our sincere apologies for all the inconveniences.

To you it's 30 days. The rest of us who actually ordered this product on APRIL 8TH it's over 4 months late. Yes, I know the original order said shipping June 12th. Stop selling stuff (as nice as your stuff is) with these ludicrous months-long turnarounds. Sucky business and lots of my friends are talking about this so don't just write all of this off as a tirade from one bad apple. I've spent 1000s on your site since you started. Check for yourself.

jeffmackThe reason the shipping time was clearly stated as June 12th was because these were being made-to-order for us. Not every product we feature on our site is on hand and ready to ship, quite often we feature smaller makers and brands that are more niche and manufacture their products to order. That's part of what we offer as a platform -- a way of group buy product that's not featured on some of the other sites that you mentioned as having 2-day shipping (like Amazon or eBay). Epaulet product is manufactured in small batches in California. Quite often we feature made-to-order products on our site -- from denim to welted shoes. Usually for product that we think justifies the wait. We understand this may not be for everyone, but as a caveat to the wait we try to offer the best pricing possible to make the wait worthwhile. In this case, that is not what happened and for that we're terribly sorry. I understand that's it's ultimately a personal preference to whether you do or don't want to wait for the product to arrive. Our promise is to deliver properly, which like i said in this case we weren't able to and had to refund our customers.

Rep says this is not considered officially "late" until 30 days from email saying it was delayed in the first place which would be July 12. Random. They owe us all credits. Just the usual cut-n-paste stuff about the magnificent Mass business model and passing the buck/blame onto their suppliers.

The caramel duck color looks like a sand khaki but the Epaulet Wilhelm website shows the duck to be nearly orange. Are the photos here off from what we would get?

codaa27Hi codaa27- Thanks for noticing this, we actually made an error and the correct name that goes with the chinos that we are showing in "sand khaki". We have updated the options now. Everyone will receive the sand khaki color shown.

I predicted this would happen when Marijuana became legal; otherwise intelligent people paying eighty-bucks for thirty-dollar pants. Where does all it end ;- )

I'm fine with my $35 Jomers Kurabo Bull denim but I'm sure these pants are at least worth $45 more, if not $60.

This is a great drop, well known and highly regarded company, FINALLY something with an athletic taper fit, and super detailed measurements.

Epaulet joined MD?!?!?!?! The purist in me died a little. With all seriousness, as a loyal epaulet patron, I highly recommend their products. If you like the tapered look, but have big thighs, you will be very happy with this pair. If what's being sold here is identical to what's being sold in Epaulet's store, then the material and finish is simply top notch, at a handsome discount.

wristandfeetThey did a GAT sneaker drop a few years back as well. Epaulet is great, and Michael is a godsend for big-thigh-guys.
