Wait. So people who ordered an ErgoDox in August of 2013 are just NOW getting their kit? So if I ordered with the set that is closing tomorrow, I'm not going to get my keyboard until forever?

rhys_rhavenEveryone who ordered the unassembled kit in August has theirs, but there was a pretty big delay with the assembled kits, which is why they aren't offering it any more. By the looks of it some people from the Nov drop have got theirs now, and others should in the next few weeks.

rhys_rhavenThat depends upon your definition of "forever", I suppose... but yes, these are slow to ship. However, sourcing the parts, having the PCB fabricated, having the cases fabricated, etc.. is a challenge. Even the keyswitches are troublesome to source cheaply (or even at all for some). The price they're giving on this is very nice, and I question if you could do better yourself on it... so yes, it's slow, but with good reason.

rhys_rhavenYes. It is a horribly long wait, especially when it shows up missing parts.

rhys_rhavenI ordered in November and had no switches and no keycaps and it's going to take 75 days. I haven't received it yet; it's still in transit. Massdrop is saying they're getting better with each drop so maybe you can expect yours in two months.
