Can the center mount slide up/down without the whole assembly? If not, how would you have 1-2 monitors in portrait and align them at the top? I just can't seem to find a good mount that allows for adjustment when portrait/landscape orientations are mixed.
droshiThe way this thing is built makes it very easy to expand on and is far more modular than they advertise. I started with the triple monitor configuration featured in this drop but I've expanded it using parts from other ergotech stands so that it now holds five monitors in a two-over-three configuration. You can buy individual parts from eagledistribution.com to get exactly what you need. For your scenario you could get a single monitor mount and attach it to the pole above the triple monitor bar, which would allow you to raise the center screen independently of the side ones. Yes it means buying an extra part, but it'd do exactly what you're looking for. Hope this helps!
MeticulousLunaticThanks that is perfect info! Exactly what I'm hoping to find out. I don't mind investing in a system that allows for expansion, but my current stand doesn't have those that I've been able to find.
MegG45Thank you for that, I wasn't aware that page existed. When I last emailed ergotech looking for where to buy parts they directed me to eagle distribution. I'm glad they have an official page now
hyp36rmaxThose knobs are only on two of the pivots so you can adjust for sag on the wings, and it almost certainly wouldn't go far enough to align the monitors in droshi's scenario anyway.
