Stout Full-Tang 1095 Carbon Blade
One of the most popular in the ESEE collection, the model 3 is a nice combination between portability and power. Weighing in at 9.6 ounces, this full-tang fixed blade measures over 8 inches long. The 1095 carbon steel blade offers toughness, edge retention, and corrosion resistance. And though burly, the blade can be controlled with ease thanks to the ergonomically shaped handle and jimped spine. The handle is available in linen micarta or G-10, with a glassbreaker pommel for use in an emergency. Each knife available comes with a MOLLE-compatible sheath.
Note: the base price is for the standard edge black blade with linen micarta handle. At checkout, you can upgrade to the tan standard edge or OD green standard edge with orange G-10 handle for (+ $15). Also, 1095 steel will rust and stain if not properly cared for, especially on the cutting edge. We suggest using a dry film rust inhibitor such as TUF-GLIDE or TUF-CLOTH to prevent rust.
