Read an article that the trade tariffs being imposed may drive up the D2 steel price, since there is not a lot of that being made in the USA. So maybe best to get in now on any D2 knife besides this one.
I dont have their folders just the fixed blade but my general impression is that ESEE is one of few remaining knife companies that make field serviceable knives. Most other companies seem to follow more the Marketing flight path or consumer herd.
