ESEE Expat Medellin AUS-8 Frame Lock Knife

ESEE makes hard-use knives that you won’t feel bad about roughing up a bit. Exhibit A: the Expat Medellin. This 8.3-inch drop-point blade has a wide belly and a fine point, meaning it makes a great sidekick for slicing, piercing, skinning, and more. Fiberglass-reinforced nylon is used in the handle for toughness and ease of carry. Flip the knife over and you’ll see the frame lock to secure the blade. Plus, because it’s always good to keep a low profile, the pocket clip provides deep carry on the right side, whether you prefer a tip-up or tip-down orientation. Open the knife manually with either of the thumb studs. Jimping on the spine inspires a confident grip once the knife is opened.
