Found the same thing as the OP, but I just got the exclusive FFxMD Gent... great deal. It's like the outlet mall here: you need to know if it's really the right deal for you, and when to be disciplined enough to say 'no thanks' and walk away.

Bought this through Knifeworks when it first came out - same quality build as the Avispa and Zancudo; however, opening the blade was ridiculously difficult! Loosening the pivot only made matters worse, so unless you like to fiddle with pivots and detents (or happen to have gorilla thumbs) I suggest you reconsider.

You'd have to get ESEE's military/law enforcement discount to get a good deal. Their knives are sold about as low as they can go.
With that said, I love the Medellin. Got one when they first came out and I've been very happy with it.

So like, same price as Amazon (no prime) + limited time to purchase + wait time + shipping? Again, I joined this "community" because when the concept was introduced to me, it sounded like such a great idea. Until I actually signed on to see the "drop price," and have been disappointed absolutely every time. I've made 0 purchases, and have not recommended this website to anybody... Am I just visiting the wrong parts of Massdrop, like, am I "doing it wrong," or is this just kind of a pointless website? Not trying to JUST complain, but actually trying to understand why I'm still here. I feel like I keep telling myself that things have got to get better....
Can't beat the value. Some people seem to think buying domestically is more important than getting a good price on a quality product.
