Spanish for mosquito, the Zancudo is a smaller and easier to maneuver version of the popular ESEE Avispa. Designed by Mike Perrin and Jeff Randall for Blue Ridge Knives, the svelte folder features a utilitarian drop-point blade made from reliable D2 tool steel. Two thumbstuds make for easy opening, while the frame lock secures the blade once open. The handle, shaped like an hourglass for a comfy grip, is made from a combination of steel and polymer with a dimpled pattern similar to the surface of a golf ball. Also notable, the Zancudo gives you two options for carry: tip-up or tip-down—depending on your preference.
Note: At checkout, you’ll have your choice between black, desert tan, and OD green scales with a stonewashed finish blade. You can upgrade to carbon fiber handle for (+ $15) or a black coated blade for (+ $2). Due to the sensitive nature of shipping knives internationally, we are able to ship only some of the knives on Massdrop to select countries. It is the responsibility of the buyer to know and comply with all importation regulations and local laws. Click here for additional information.
