A Frank Bello Signature
Based on the ESP Vintage-4 model and customized to Anthrax bassist Frank Bello’s specifications, the FB-204 is a sinister-looking instrument with a Black Satin finish and black anodized aluminum pickguard. With 21 extra-jumbo frets on a 34-inch scale, the ultra-flat rosewood fingerboard provides a fast, smooth feel. The ESP-designed passive split-coil pickups offer tonal versatility, while the AB-1 active tone boost adds extra punch when you need it most.
Note: The base price for this drop is for the FB-204 Frank Bello Black Satin. At checkout, you may also choose the Viper 154DX Flamed Maple in See-Thru Black or Black Cherry (-$50), the J-204 5-String 3-Tone Burst (-$20), Phoenix-204 Black Electric Bass Guitar (-$20), or the B-5E 5-String Natural Satin (+$80).
This drop is for new B-Stock instruments with the original box and paperwork. ESP has very stringent quality control procedures, and a tiny imperfection in the finish can qualify a guitar for B-Stock. These basses may have minor cosmetic imperfections which will not affect playability.
Viper, J Series & Phoenix & More
Made from lightweight basswood with a flamed-maple top, the Viper 154X boasts a blistering rock personality with a pair of SB-4 pickups, an active 3-band EQ, and a string-thru body design for improved sustain and impact. The J-204 5-string bass has an alder body with a 3-tone burst finish, while the Phoenix-204 has a classic black body and an edgy Firebird shape. The B-5E 5-string has a mahogany body with a Natural Satin finish, a 5-piece maple and mahogany neck, and a matching ebony top and fingerboard.
