Just received my sunburst 5 string...looks great! The only possible things that I see that may have classified this as B stock is an extremely small blemish on the control cover plate where the chrome may have not plated correctly and a very small scuff on the rear of the headstock. Both flaws are ridiculously tiny. The bass plays great with a very comfortable neck shape and a quick check on the bench shows that it's mostly setup! No major intonation issues (checked with my Peterson strobo). Neck is properly relieved. String height is just about right at Fender spec'd 5/64"...not too high or low. The strings are a little cheap, but that's to be expected. The pickups aren't amazing, but they aren't bad by any stretch. I've got quite a few basses, and this hangs with the best of them. Very happy for the price paid, for sure. I'm now very much looking forward to my B stock EC that should be arriving this week!
