Beware Esterbrook. Kenro owns them now, but previously it was reported that someone had purchased the brand who was less-than-scrupulous. I myself was taken in by their practice of rebranding and then marking up very inexpensive pens—Fahrney s sold me a Kanwrite Desire for $70 (a roughly $20 Indian pen) that had been rebranded as an Esterbrook. Not a bad pen, but not worth $70. I’m willing to bet this one isn’t worth anywhere NEAR the drop price. Plus, it’s ugly. Beware.

writerstephenWasn't Yafa involved at one point? I dislike that company with a passion.

katerchenI don’t THINK Yafa ever owned Esterbrook, but I could be mistaken.
