Exotac nanoSTRIKER XL Firestarter

The Exotac nanoSTRIKER XL is a compact, all-in-one firestarter perfect for camping and outdoor trips. Made from 6061 aircraft aluminum, this version is slightly larger than the original and features a thicker ferrocerium rod and tungsten carbide striker inside the twist-off body. It also comes with a nylon lanyard to wrap around your fingers for a better grip when striking the rod.

The nanoSTRIKER XL features a collapsible design with every tool you need to successfully start a fire. To use it, first gather a small pile of tinder (it works best with dry grasses, wood shavings, cotton balls, etc.), then untwist both ends and re-attach the aluminum body to the back of the rod. Hold the tungsten carbide striker in one hand and scrape it against the rod at an angle with medium force and speed, shaving material from the rod to create a spark. The ferrocerium rod is replaceable and provides over 3,000 strikes.
