We've had several calls with our vendor throughout the day and have some unfortunate news to share with the group.
Despite placing the group’s order two weeks ago, and having been ensured the necessary units would be available beforehand, we’ve just been informed that the vendor is no longer able to fulfill the group’s order in a timely fashion. They’ve explained that the units allocated for this drop were incorrectly inventoried during a recent move to a new warehouse and are no longer available to ship. As a result, we have made the difficult decision to cancel this drop and issue full refunds. Refunds will be applied to your payment method within 1-3 business days.
We realize that this is a sought after product by our community, so our vendor is currently working to replenish their inventory. If you would like to see this drop run again, please go to the drop page and click Request.
If you have any questions or concerns about how things were handled during this drop please reach out to us at https://www.massdrop.com/support and we will be sure to take that into consideration for next time.
Thanks again for all your continued support and we hope to better serve you and the community in the future.

A quick update for you all! We've been in touch with the vendor and they've let us know that they are still working to gather and package the group's order for individual shipment to each of you. We will continue to check in with them throughout the fulfillment process and update the group again as soon as everything is sent out!
Thanks for your patience and expect an update from us by the end of the day Pacific Time on 10/1 or sooner if something comes up.

It's a go! The order for the Exped Air Pillow was placed just after the drop came to an end. Now our vendor will be working hard to prepare it for shipment to each of you.
As soon as we receive word from the vendor about the shipping schedule, we will update you all with that information.
Look forward to another update from us by the end of the day Pacific Time on 9/25 or earlier if anything comes up.

Awesome, thanks. It sounds like the large is better if you sleep on your side. Either way it's a very highly rated pillow.

Amazon offers a medium and large version of this pillow, do we know what size this one is? Will the large be an option?

FireStarterBobMedium is available on this drop. I've updated this in the product info. I can work to get the large version available on the next drop if that's what people want :)

As this drop is tagged as for the Ultralight community here at massdrop -- why this and not the Exped Air Pillow UL?
http://www.exped.com/usa/en/air-pillow-ul-m
After all, it's a whole ounce lighter, and named UL, you know, for "Ultra Light", you know... Although, I suppose proper UL'ers would never dream of bringing something as redundant as a pillow anyway...
Pfft... Lightweighters :-)

pahatlem@pahatlem - the UL version is lighter, and more expensive. I try to balance the weight and the value provided, and this pillow is quite nice but a little heavier than the UL one. I can certainly work towards making the UL version available on a future drop.

pahatlemOh, and thank you for nicely asking for the UL version. Others might have trolled where you made light jokes. I think the ultralight discussions here are mostly troll-free.

I already have one of these so I will not be participating but I will add that these are the most comfortable camp pillows that I have tried and the material has held up over around 20 trips. I paid the full price and still consider it worth the $.
