It's a go! The order for the Exped Synmat 7` was placed just after the drop came to an end. Now our vendor will be working hard to prepare it for shipment to each of you.
As soon as we receive word from the vendor about the shipping schedule, we will update you all with that information.
Look forward to another update from us by the end of the day Pacific Time on 7/27 or earlier if anything comes up.

Heavy, yes, but in-built pump and more durable materials are nice. As is the price. However 400 fewer grams on the Hyperlite is hard to pass up.

I'll chime in here. I got one of these mats just under a year ago. I love it. Heavy is definitely a relative term to the UL community. It rolls to a decent size and still fits in my pack pretty easy. It's also super comfortable (for a mattress only slightly larger than my body) and insulates well. I've probably used it 30 times since I've had it and its held up well so far.

I'd prefer to see the UL versions. I already hqve a medium downmat, but it is heavy

being a 6'11 man my self i would have appricated you includeing the long sizes in this drop

EricWinterNot to negate your comment, but many people choose a shorter mat to save weight, especially with heavy mats like this one. If you sleep on your side with knees bent, or use your backpack to extend the mat, you can save a few hundred grams. Some people go to further extremes to save less weight than that. Jut an idea : )
