Mine arrived...very pretty and quite striking. The chrome is extremely bright and shiny which sets nice next to the dark wood. The black wood is a bit darker than I thought it would be... its hard to tell its wood with the grain blending into the stain too much.
Nib is a bit small when compared to the pen... a #6 would have looked a lot better IMO. My broad nib writes well..its pretty stiff but needs time to break in. I also think it needs a bit of a polish, but again may break in on its own. It puts down a nice, broad, wet line... a very Euro broad when compared to Asian broad nibs.
Converter is pretty standard and fits solidly into the feed section.
All in all a good pen so far and I'm happy with it. A few little gripes here and there, but I'm happy with it.
EDIT - 2 months later : Still like the pen, although I'm finding the slick metal section hard to hold onto for lengthy writing sessions. This is more of a note taker, meeting type pen IMO. I decided I wanted this with a finer line, so after discovering that Faber-Castell doesn't sell nib units in the US (rather they make you ship the entire pen back to them) I swapped in a standard #5 Edison nib unit that works very well.
