I received my Loom today, and I am happy with the writing experience and pen itself. I am somewhat surprised however that it arrived in a unsealed cardboard sleeve of similar material to the Lamy pen boxes and not the drawer type box that has been demonstrated in pen reviews for Faber-Castell products. Not a big deal, but perhaps if you were to be giving as a gift.

olbezMy pen arrived with one filled and one blank standard international cartridge. I did not order a converter. I have had good luck with these if you need one - I am currently using one on my Loom:
