Faded Days started with a unique problem: Founder Ben Saperia had recently moved from not-so-sunny England (where a pair of sunglasses could last a lifetime) to always-sunny Florida (where you could wear your shades every day and lose them just as often). Suddenly, Ben needed his sunglasses not only to look good, but also to be affordable and durable enough for everyday wear. When he couldn’t find what he was looking for, Faded Days was born. Available in transparent and tortoiseshell styles, these aviators are handmade with cellulose acetate: a hypoallergenic, plant-based material known for its strength, light weight, and depth of color. The hard-coated lenses provide full UV400 protection.
