yeuhsI am glad it's a good deal, I purchased it Just now. ...These are always priced up there, but buying one you know it's going to be high quality, packaged nice, and one that will last more then a life time...I collect more then anything else and just had to have it... Anyone know if Massdrop has offered this before?

BarryOFirst I've seen it, or I would have jumped on it. I had been watching this knife for a while before finally pulling the trigger a few months ago.

She thinks I am crazy and I think she may be right....lol..or should I be laughing at myself ?...I have to think the heard but I get confused how to set up eBay to sell some.

BarryOI thought it was the same with just different scales. Same blade steel, same liner lock, same length. Am I missing something? https://www.massdrop.com/buy/fallkniven-gentleman-s-liner-lock-knife

CampCatskillI think it's a different knife then the last one I purchased, tomorrow I am going to make sure the 189.00 spent on this knife was not a mistake on my part.

BarryOThat’s rough! I have been going through my collection trying to focus it on the things I like best. I had no idea how many knives I owned until I got them all together. So, I’ve been dealing with Arizona Custom Knives (they’re in FL, lol) and they take consignment. When I weighed their benefits vs. me dealing with it on eBay, etc., I promised the fam that I would halve my collection using their services. AZCK has the exposure and they suggest prices and you get a monthly cheque of 75% of what they sell for. May be something for you to consider. They are excellent to deal with. The only issue I have with them is...the tens of thousands of semi-customs and customs that are calling to me...’buy me’...’buy me’... damn

AxeguyI think having Arizona costumes company to sell your knives is a great idea and the next week or so I am going to get in touch with them you have to have all your knife mailed to them and then they come up with a good price

BarryOAndrew is their manager for consignments if you call. Their website has a section on how their consignment service works. These are good guys. Good at what they do and great to talk to. I have been buying from them for about a year now.

BarryONo, I actually live in Canada. They’re good about dealing with our border: they service collectors everywhere. I haven’t actually used the consignment service yet but I am putting a package together as I continue to ‘cull’ my collection. Best of luck, Barry. Hope you get some cash in your pocket soon from those knives.

AxeguyOne last thing, or maybe not the last thing at all....isn't it amazing how easy it is to accumulate a boat load of knives and not even realize how many you have. My son came in from LA , I live just outside of Phila and he wanted to see my knives, I think I was even surprised as we started pulling different ones out and out and out and out. I had some I almost forgot I had, all cool in my option. I think my son left thinking his dad had an isuue....lol

AxeguyI hear you, Brother! I am a big fan of AZCK as well! Unfortunately, the tens of thousands of knives and availability of lightly used major customs...well, kinda just upped the level of purchases I make. In the face of $5-6K customs, spending $1.5K isn’t so bad...is it? Hello...? Hello...?

BarryOI'm in trouble too and understand your dilemma, I have no self control when it comes to awesome knives. I'm going to end up single and homeless if I keep it up. At least I will have some great knives to keep me company.

Gunnersmate2We should move into a place together, give up everything we have other then our knives, then we can spend all our time clean , looking, and admiring our knives. Then go to a great for psychiatric care because I know we both must need it

BarryOYeah, it will be like a huge rooming house for all our MD knife fanatic friends that lose their families to their knife collections. And we’ll have wicked weekly group therapy sessions in the living room that will always devolve into swap meets! I’m SO there, guys! Oh, and we’ll need @JonasHeineman to roll out collaborations to our captive focus group!

AxeguyI'm kinda going after different blade steel. I still need elmax and m390 and m4 for the popular known steels. I'll have to check when I get home. I just picked up a super blue spyderco yesterday. Still waiting in shipping

Gunnersmate2I can get back to you on that. And, on your steel-quest, don’t forget Busse. Their proprietary INFI steel (they won’t tell but a reliable lab confirmed the presence of Nitrogen) and heat treat make some of the strongest, hardest, most durable combat knives anywhere. They make some hard core cutters in their Custom Shop that, despite the amazing hardness of their blades, opt to further boost performance by a proprietary hard chroming. Their newer big blades have shock-absorption built into the ‘waves’—corrugation of the metal in waves parallel to the blade edge. So many blades! So little time!

BarryOI think most of us here are in the same boat. My wife thinks I have a REAL problem and I also think she’s right. With that being said, I might have a micarta fetish because that looks so sweet.
