So-honestly I was thinking this was a frivolous buy as I unboxed them for the 6XXs-but shock! the drive tube I was burning in for DV was louder, overall brighter with tunes. Have swapped them w the stock cables multiple times-seems a bit more sound stage and yes brighter-love 'em

BFCCFFS. If you are getting 'louder' with a new cable, you have an actual resistor soldered inline to your stock cable? Because that's what it would take to get a difference in volume.
