For an alternative stand, I believe the maggard MR7 Stand should fit nicely. The feather handle diameter should be 11.3mm (don't have the razor yet, so hope my google skills are up to scratch) and that stand has an opening of 11.6mm. For USD $13 + shipping, I'm giving it a try.

DubJIt fits very nicely. Slight wiggle room, but I think it's just right since I don't want scrapes on the handle. One thing to note though. The stand doesn't have anything on the bottom. No rubber or felt feet, so beware of scratching the countertop.

DeadseaThanks to your info I was able to get the MR7 stand and it fit the Merku 23C quite nicely.
