I have the kamisori version of this and it’s so damn scary to shave with. Blade is the Pro blade. Imo the blade is way too sharp. I’d need to squeeze in a couple of shaves before I can shave confidently. I might try taming new blades on cork. But the razor is scaring the hell out of me.

BuckbrickIF you can find them, give the Dorco Barber Blades a try. Much more forgiving then the feather blades, still a very smooth shave but less harsh/sharp
Fair warning though, it's been a few years since I stocked up on them myself, and they were hard to find back then, so no idea if they're available anywhere at this point. Glad I bought like 10 boxes lol
Could also try the Kai Captain Mild blades. Never tried myself, but have heard good feedback

KavikYeah Dorco is good. Now they are made in Vietnam. Also, Derby are great starter blades.

BuckbrickI have two of the kamisori style ones—the SS and DX models. Buy a pack of the ProGuard blades. They are a little easier to start off with. I still like them, but almost exclusively use the Pro blades now.
