I often wonder why makers bother with Titanium in tops? I would be perfectly happy with SS, Copper or Brass at a slightly cheaper price just for the longer spin times those metals give. Titanium is just kind of "Meh" performance-wise.

glennacSupposed to be a hard dense, heavy metal. Doesn't oxydize, as much. Usually $ expensive, but this one isn't. Often used as a coating. Most tops have a common base metal. Then a finish metal. How do I ring one up?

shop970Titanium is actually a very light metal similar to aluminum but not as light.

glennacI totally agree. What I'd like is bronze. Its density is good and it gets the best patina over time. This drop is not for me.
