With things like this, saying that this pen is definitely not worth it's price is making a judgment on the value of the makers time. If he spends X hours making this and values himself at a certain $/hr rate, why would you get to tell him he's wrong? I don't know how long it takes him to make these or how much the materials cost, but I know I can't make this. I do know how much money I have though, and I know I have the judgment to decide what to do or not to do with it. If buying this pen were in my interest, I'm not sure your opinion would matter much.
But I respect your right to have said opinion, however negative and inflammatory they might be, so have a wonderful day and I hope you find something more to your liking elsewhere.
