what do you guys see that i don't? isn't amazon selling the exact same flashlight (+ 2 batteries) for the same price, available immediately - http://tinyurl.com/hpyc3pq
I have the pre-2014 E05, it's been in my pocket for years and worked perfectly. Great little light, the only worthwile flashlight I can actually carry in my trouser pocket all the time.
A little concerned with the three light levels, not a fan of the "twist like a madman" type selector - prefer a separate switch so I can turn it on directly at the desired level - but I guess that takes extra space and money.
I guess I got lucky. I bought the light directly from Fenix in October '15 and $19.99 for it with free custom engraving. After having used it since then, it is a great light and worth every dime, even for this price
I own an E99 Ti. I bought my girlfriend an E99 and and E05 in SS. She's rough on her stuff and has destroyed and/or just hasn't liked other lights. She's had these both on her 2 keychains (work and home) for over a year and enjoys both. She not interested in any other lights. They're small, bright, and get good run times off Energizer Lithium Primaries. It's not as bright as an 18650 light, but due to its tiny size (in comparison to most other AAA lights) and solid build quality, it can work well as your EDC at home and work...depending on what you do professionally. If you're a LEO, then it's a nice backup.
MKLightSorry this is from a long time ago but I'm trying to decide between the E99 Ti and E05 SS. Just curious which does your girlfriend prefer? I like the Ti lighter weight obviously, but SS will have the smoothest threads. I kinda like the lower lumens of the SS low mode also.
teknomanSorry for my delay...I just saw your response. I’m sure you’ve purchased many other lights since...but she didn’t really see a difference. My preference was the Ti for the knurling, but the SS functioned better. I still have my Ti, which I don’t use very often...she’s misplaced both...she now has a Olight AAA e03 single mode light.
