That knife looks extremely unsafe to use. This is clearly a complete waste of everyone's money and just not a good knife. And FFS, it's a liner lock. Seriously? Get an $80 SOG that will last you a lifetime.

jpowerstechUnsafe? Not a good knife? Liner lock?
Bold accusations, especially when that actually isn't a liner lock, it's a frame lock, which you are calling unsafe; even though it is arguably one of the best, strongest, and widely used locks in knife-making. You have to slide a chunk of titanium over which is under a fair amount of tension, which as you grip the knife it moves the bar over strengthening the lock.
It is a reputable brand that makes great quality knives with better than average materials. They don't produce many of each model and their craftsmanship is astounding. I can't say whether this is a good deal or not, market-wise, but if you are in the market for a mid-tech, I highly recommend this brand.

bigguwopframe and liner lock are the exact same mechanism. They can fail under far less tension than a lockback or axis/arc lock. And they are unsafe under extreme conditions due to your hand resting on the mechanism itself. It is one of the weakest locks used in pocketknives today simply because a slip of your hand in resting position and you can lose your fingers. I'm a lefty, and liner locks are especially unsafe for lefties. It doesn't matter if you use the most expensive steel available, or forge the finest or coolest looking blade. If you can't make it safe and easy to use, it's not worth the cost of materials. And this knife isn't worth its price.

jpowerstechIt isnt worth the price but not because of the frame lock, they work just fine and are quite strong actually.

jpowerstechWe make custom lefty frame locks. The mass drop offer is for right handed only however.

jpowerstechI'm a lefty and... no they're not. You're still squeezing the handle (with your fingertips as opposed to your palm of your right hand) and thus pushing towards the lock, not towards release. You're wrong on multiple points.

jpowerstechYou lost ALL accountability when you said 'buy a SOG' and something about 'last a lifetime'. You have a lot to learn.
