Not happy with these IEMs, they are veiled and grainy, and not neutral like they are labelled to be. But, I suppose they are a good price for what they are....
thx1137I have had 2 replacement pairs and they have both failed. There is also alot of sibalance. I have a certain level of distrust towards reviews now.
joshua.heoThey were initially sibilant for me as well, and no amount of burn-in seemed to make a difference. What did make the difference, however, were the eartips in use. Wider bore eartips helped appreciably tame the treble, after which sibilance wasn't a particularly noteworthy issue. As per quality issues, despite them being well cared for, my initial pair had to be replaced as well. Doesn't inspire much confidence, I'm afraid.
Polygon@Polygon As much as I love my Titan 1, some users experience elevated treble and sibilance with these therefore might not be the best for Joshua (check the Head-Fi thread). If tamed highs, textured ample bass and lush mids are what you're after, I'd definitely suggest the Shure SE535. Price is slightly north of the Fidue but I can't complain about the awesome quality and addictive sound.

Though the SE535's treble was rather too polite for my taste (i.e., partly lacking higher frequency air and extension; especially when directly compared against today's hybrids), those mids and lows I admire to this very day. Needless to say, it's best for joshua.heo to compare and contrast any suitable option, and the SE535 is still a perfectly suitable recommendation.
P.S. Pertaining to the Titan 1's treble, tip-rolling works wonders. The triple-flange eartips (Monster branded or similar), oft mentioned within the Head-Fi thread, are only tips I've used since the Titan 1 arrived, and there's quite literally no sibilance to speak of. As always, ymmv of course. A fit as deep as the tri-flanges require requires getting used to.
PolygonGood call. That's why even though the $500 SE535 has full and lush mids, I'd still pick the $90 over it anytime anyday. Perhaps coz I'm more of a bright and treble enhanced fan rather than bass. Also since most of my music is in the Classical genre. Sibilance is not really a problem for me even if I get a doze now and again. I found the best silicon tip for my comfort since I'm not really into foams. That's why I'd really want to try the A83's mids-focused sound signature. Looks like this Drop is at a stand still, sadly. For those that are not happy with their pair, please email me schoolbook at gmail. Hope this post is okay with Massdrop. If not, mods apologies. :)
