These don't have a microphone or volume control on the cord right?

laxfan221Nope. Just recently picked mine up from Amazon since I didn't want to wait for the Massdrop ship date. They sound incredible after broken in. I'd recommend at least about 40-50 hours of break-in time before you judge the sound. Some recommend even 100+ hours. The bass will be non-existent when you get it, but just gets better and better.
They honestly make the Westone 3's that one of my family members has sound like complete crap. Even their Klipsch Custom 3's don't sound as good as this IEM. It really is incredible. Fidue has me hooked for life if they keep creating this incredible of a product.
On thing that people need to also know about this IEM is that it is incredibly reliant on a very low output impedance from whatever device it is plugged into. BAs are incredibly sensitive to that sort of thing. I'd recommend a device that has 2Ohm O.I. or less to get the best sounds out of this IEM. I tried using it on my Creative SoundBlaster Zx in my computer, which has ~28Ohm O.I., and it sounded like crap. But as soon as I plugged it into my MBA/iPad/HTCOne, it was brought to life. And I can't say this enough, it sounds INCREDIBLE. Has bass and mid/high clarity when you want it, and shelves the bass when you don't want it while retaining the mid/high clarity. And that bass isn't overpowering. It is just nice and tight like a pair of skintight spandex clothing.
TL;DR: Sorry for going overboard in answering your question and more. Just hope others see this and request this product for another drop. People are REALLY missing out by going with the "big-name-brands" like Shure, etc., when they could be trying Fidue out (which is a relatively new company who is ran by the legendary Benny Tan).

KinaestheticNo I appreciate this reply. I'm planning on listening to mobile devices with this (iPhone, tablets, etc.) Do you recommend listening with a small portable amp or standalone?
