I actually just bought one of these just a couple weeks ago. (you guys always wait till I've already bought it to make it a drop :P ), but I would definitely recommend grabbing this. I use it with my ATH-M50x's and the difference is night and day. It really pushes your headphones to do what they were designed to do. The bass isn't super artificial. It is very clean and proper but can blow your head up if you have the right song. It really uses the bass that's in the song. It has plenty of power. I haven't needed to turn the amp up to the full 10 yet.
CAUTION: When you do get this DAC though, when you plug it into your Windows machine DO NOT INSTALL ANY DRIVERS. Let Windows install it's own driver for you. If you use FiiO's driver, your computer will freeze and bluescreen whenever you unplug it or turn it off. I had this problem on two Windows 10 devices. I emailed FiiO and they told me themselves that it was a bad driver. As soon as I uninstalled it, Windows installed it's on FiiO driver and it worked perfectly.

NickolasStoneDrivers? I never noticed any CD or USB disk with drivers in the box. Anyway; Good little DAC, absolutely recommended. I have the E10K and the Epiphany EHP-O2Di (ODAC). I like the ODAC better, but pricewise the Fiio is the better deal. (AKG Q701 & DT990 PRO)
