I am trying to play a ipod hooked to a bose speaker system and to listen to the music by headphones, it doesn't come out of the speaker, is there a way to use this to run the earphones while still hearing the speaker?

mikeejeanneMost devices disconnect the speaker outputs while having a pair of headphones in. Your post makes no sense either.

Just buy a simple 3.5mm splitter and 2 x 3.5mm aux cables. This will allow you to have speakers and headphones at the same time.
