you might also want to read the thread dedicated to this player over on head-fi (http://www.head-fi.org/t/765943/fiio-x5-2nd-gen-impressions-and-discussion-tour-application-megathread) -- there are various issues you should be aware of, like the device getting slow with a larger number of files on the cards, playing up to 96khz instead of 192khz in dac mode etc.
