We need MassDrop to comment about the authorized reseller/warranty issue.

EarsI'm debating leaving massdrop if they can't/won't answer this issue

EarsI would not hold my breath. In the past MD just copied and pasted the 'Warranty' blurb from their FAQ. Short version; they will attempt to resolve the issue themselves if the original maker denies buyer service or warranty.
My curiosity is how are they going to receiver any different of a reply from the maker if they are considered unauthorized party? Somehow, I do not see MD going out on the end user market to buy a replacement device. Just speculation. I have no clue and might be wrong.
LxJLthrHey LxJLthr,
Thanks for your post! To be clear, we wouldn't allow any party to list on Massdrop if they weren't willing to support our members with replacement/repair services if the need arose.
As per Nic's point, if the manufacturer isn't interested in answering your support requests, send it over to support@massdrop.com and we'll get it taken care of.
