@OneLove - According to our vendor, FineVu does not do regular firmware updates like some other camera manufacturers. All of the T9's in this drop ship with the international (English) firmware. @Pokes360, @lorsungcu - Thanks for bringing that to our attention, we're always happy for members to get the best possible price, even if it isn't through us. What will often happen is that retailers on Amazon will lower their price in response to us running a drop and we can expect that the price will go back up shortly after this drop ends.
Is this the final amount or any import tax/customs duty will be charged on shipping to india?
On sale at amazon for $125 with free two day shipping if you have prime. Hate to say it, but that is a way better deal. http://www.amazon.com/FineVu-T9-16GB-Black-Dashcam/dp/B00UABK25W/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1461019481&sr=8-1&keywords=FineVu+T9+Dual+Channel+Dash+Camera
I had the Finevu CR2000G previously. Excellent image, features and a high quality dash camera. The only issue was that english firmware and support was non existent. Where do buyers get english firmware updates or support for this Finevu device?
OneLove
Most units in the grey market (eBay/Amazon, unauthorized sellers) come with Korean firmware that cannot be updated to English. The unit sold here should come with the official English firmware.
Husky
The one on Amazon is sold by Pro Com, an authorized dealer of FineVu.
Thanks for replying to my question..Brainwave thanks for the link and I will stay away from this crap
Acetacarms
Acetacarms, sorry I missed your question. The T9 does not come with built in GPS, an external GPS unit is available, but the vendor was unable to supply them for this drop.
I agree. I'm also new here and so far I'm not seeing a value that rips the money from my wallet. Mostly its ehhh not enough savings for a long wait.
The going price difference between a 16GB and 32GB name brand SD card is like $4. I'm still not seeing the value here?
I'm a new MassDrop member but I have noticed all the deals I've looked at here so far aren't really any cheaper than elsewhere? In this regard MassDrop to me at least so far is just another e-tailer like all the rest except it takes 2+ months to get your item. Don't get me wrong I like the concept but I think you guys need to negotiate better deals.
Also the ultimate risk here especially with electronics is that you join a deal then within the 2+ month wait the item has a huge price reduction across all the other e-trailers. It's one thing to buy and receive an item and then see its price reduced it's entirely different to buy an item see its price reduced then still wait 2+ months to receive something you know you spent way too much for.

It's great for custom things - mechanical keyboards especially, of which they may only make 50 or 100 total. But I agree it's not a place to get a deal on something you can buy on Amazon.
Is there a video output option so that you can see through the rear camera when parking?
$140 on Amazon free same day delivery with Prime... looks like better deal than the lowest price point + $7.75 shipping and 1 month wait on MD. http://www.amazon.com/FineVu-T9-16GB-Black-Dashcam/dp/B00UABK25W

It's now $125, from what I can tell...
Despite the drop saying we were getting an upgrade to the card, mine arrived with the 16gb micro SD card. There were also no instructions included in the box.
Does it come with a built in gps?
