Why are they STILL using image of the first edition board to advertise these surplus later printing copies? Because it draws more clicks and views than the board anyone buying it will actually get....!
I love ya, Drop, but this is at best lazy, at worst, outright shady.
DeadhardyThe dark board. The brightly colored one is the version that went out of print. They apparently printed a bajillion copies of the new, all-dark edition, as it has been blown out repeatedly for the last two years.
It's a great game, but using that photo is misleading, and so is implying that this edition is highly desirable.
fportalesYes, I think that this would be a good change of pace to Catan. It's still a thinky type game that has a lot of strategy but would give you something different to enjoy.
