I received one from the last round and fit-and-finish was fine. The other complaints, furniture scratching and leaving dents in you headphone band, are easily remedied. Four 1/2" pieces of 3/16" fuel line, cut lengthwise and slipped over the four contact points on the bottom take care of the scratching issue. I used a dab of ShooGoo on each to hold it in place. For the headphone support part, use two 2½" long 1/4" pieces of fuel line, cut lengthwise, over the supports and it given enough support to stop deep dents in the padding. Also added a rubber washer, a bit larger than the cable support, to keep the cable from slipping off. These are all things that the manufacture should actually do but it's simple enough to do yourself. Overall, a very good stand.
