Pretty high price, when you can just buy something like North Face or Columbia for the same price but know it's reputable and lasts for decades.. Also outsourcing

I've had a few different ventile pieces and they've all been great to me. I think it's an amazing fabric and honestly it can be hard to find. I'm looking forward to trying this one out for spring!

I imagine he buys $18 cups of coffee too. That's a ridiculous price. But probably matches his Beemer interior.

Is there something special about this ventile shell? My understanding is they are pretty worthless in a heavy downpour and the waterproofing degrades over time.

bedpit definitely doesn't degrade overtime as it relies on cottons natural properties to well up and seal out water, but on the flipside it's more "water-resistant" than water proof, definitely not for heavily downpours like gore-Tex or real rubberized raincoats

That's a bit rich for a brand that I've neither seen nor heard of before. I have a couple Gore-Tex shells that cost that much or more, but those came from local retailers where I could try them on first.

Does the attractively bearded gent come with the jacket? If not, this is too spendy for a jacket.

And here I was thinking of asking MD to let me model gear. Now I know what consumers think.
*Just making some fun of it.

$464.39 US Now, I get it. This is made in Scotland. So maybe this is very hard to secure affordably versus going to China. Or the profit margin is much higher, either way, we have choices.
But thank you for the link. Start a poll and get this brand on MD next time.

A $500 rain jacket? I'm sorry, but this thing better massage my back and make my breakfast every morning for that price. It's a nice jacket I'm sure but the price point is just pretentious IMO. Any one who jumps on this clearly has too much available liquid means they can throw out into the rain. See what I did there?

amdee1979IMO $500 isn't all that expensive for a truly technical insulated waterproof coat. Look at anything brands like fjallraven or sutterhiem have to offer and plenty even exceed this. Now with that said if was going to pay that much for a coat(read: if I could afford to), i much rather get something from a reputable company like those two, rather then some start up with no reviews and a bunch of marketing bs about how "passionate they are about the outdoors and craftsmanship" also for the price this jacket looks unbelievably plain and boring vs. Other companies offerings.
