I've had one of these since my dad gave it to me in the 80s. Yes you can get refills (several companies make refills that fit, but Fisher ones are the best), and the company stands behind their product. The pen has a rubber O-ring seal that holds the cap on, and after 30 years of use the seal on my pen was getting a little worn. I emailed Fisher and they sent me a set of brand new o-rings for free. I fully expect this pen will outlive me.
