Sorry to be negative. Bought this brand sock here several months ago. I don’t like, or recommend them and gave them all away. Send more and get Smartwool or Darn Tough. They will change your life.
sewlling short socks in the winter .. SOS : Short Socks Suck !
Pffft... cheaper on Amazon... this platform is going downhill man.
Jonjackfalcon
$24.99 on Amazon ?? This is $17.99, if you are not in a hurry this is better. Unless you have free shipping via Amazon then.. comparable. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
The sizes are small. I mean if you are using a size 'MEDIUM' buy the 'LARGE' size. This is especially important if you are a senior traveling long distances by plane, The socks being tight might cause blood circulation problems sitting for an extended time during flights.
Shipping for one pair of socks $2.75, shipping for 2 pairs of same socks $6.75?? Think I’ll pass on this one.
I like tall socks not short ones .for calf support and protection from hazards. SSS Short Socks Suck.
Ryan from FITSOK here...Lifetime guarantee definitely included for our German friends! You can contact us direct anytime via email or phone. We work very close with Massdrop so can alert them as well.

Are you ever going to make XXL size socks? I have s 16 4E wide foot, I would buy a lot of socks if you did. Right now I buy all Darn Tough socks. But I'm planning on doing the AT this new year starting in March so I'm going to need a lot of good quality socks.
Fitsok lifetime guarantee included? does the guarantee work if i live in germany? how is the support for people outside of the US?
Damn shipping at end of month didn't know had to wait 2 weeks to shipping ., was hoping to have them for my thru hike of the long path here in NY Of well but mass drop should advise shipping time in the open time of a sale ,don't know if I would order if I knew it would take so lone to ship . Ty

Take a deep breath and calm down, you didn't read the full description, acting like a child will accomplish nothing.
Does anybody use these as running socks? How do they perform ?
Those of you who bought these in the past, would you recommend these as work socks? I wear steel toed boots all day and want to get some good socks to replace my cheap cotton socks.
Hokieengineer
I wear the darn tough work socks with 300 dollar heavy steel toes. Awesome socks. I wear them with heavg duty red wing boots on 16 hour shifts at the railyard. Highly recommend those. These are lightweight. I wear these fitsok on my days off with vans shoes.
I hike in Lowa Renegade GTXs. Are the hike length tall enough to cover the boot line or should I get the crew?
This is my second order, I am not happy with this order as when I recieved the socks one pair had very large hole in the big toe so basically very expensive for two pair of socks!

Ok, great as I love the socks! What do I need to do to get the one defective pair replaced?

So i own these and the fitsok x massdrop, i mostly use the Isolwool for heavy hikes that at most i do once a week, so across all 3 i probably have put in well over 200 miles hiking into them combined. Only 1 of the socks seems to be opening up at the heel, just a tiny opening where the stitching comes together at the heel. Frankly im VERY happy with them, i also use a liner sock with them. Ive walked in a river once with them, still preformed great after i squeezed out the excess water.
Compared to the massdrop ones, these are thicker and tighter, good compression. I use the mass drop ones when i know im not going to do a longer hike. Also i feel the massdrop ones dont fight odor as well as these. Im thinking about picking up another set of 3 honestly now.
Ordered a 3-pack of these in a previous drop and love them so much I ordered another 2 3-packs and a 3-pack for my wife as wel. hope she likes them to but can’t imagine she doesn’t as these are very nice allround socks! not to thick and not to thin, just right!
I received mine Saturday, I was impressed with the fit, it was perfect all over for my foot. Wore Sunday, with a Fox River liner, crew length, with the excess length folded down over the Fitsok. I was breaking in a pair of ventilated low hikers (Oboz Sawtooth, which also fit very well, but pre-hike I was slightly concerned with a little rubbing around the Achilles, no issue with that on this day), I did an easy paced 8-1/2 mile hike over dry, sandy, rolling terrain. I am very happy with this setup so far, I will check them out next week with a 20 mile backpacking trip in the mountains, and then perhaps a 70 mile trip next month. I'll try to remember to update...

I have significantly sweaty feet. I do most of my hiking in humid North Carolina, and usually (despite wearing mesh breathable shoes and fitsok Merino socks) my feet feel slightly damp from the first mile on.
Do you think these are more breathable than your average Merino sock?
EZ_living
I would say yes, but they are on the thin side and that may be the reason. I just got back from a rocky and rugged 70 mile trip, carrying all the food from the start and at times 6 liters of water. I wore these socks, with liners, 6 out of 7 days, rotating the 3 pairs. Got rained on 2 days and it was warm, and my feet get sweaty too. Only issue was a mouse chewed a big hole in a sock that was laying on a log overnight, I guess the mouse thought it was good nesting material. After that I kept them off the ground at night, sometimes jamming my poles into the ground and putting the socks over the handles.
how do these compare to the fitsok x massdrop?

this is better, more comfortable and slightly thicker. stretches better too

@SerJorahMormont thanks! very helpful
are these comparable to the Smart Wool Ultra Light PHD socks or a heavier sock?
I first bought two 3-packs of Masdrop Fitsok Merino Hiker socks and then a single 3-pack of these ISW Isowool socks. I now regret that because there an damn fine socks and they feel a bit warmer then the Merino Hiker socks to. Just requested them again and when they pop up I'm sure to get me some more of these fine socks. They fit me perfect, even walking 18 miles in them did'n give me single problem. Very much recommended!
This person wrote a pretty thorough review. https://www.google.com/amp/s/runningfromanorexia.wordpress.com/2016/03/28/fitsok-isw-isowool-no-show-cuff-review/amp/ I was trying to find (Google search) what isowool is percentage wise. Found that article.
Do these have lifetime warranty?
Clem2
I would also like to know about the warranty. On the other fitsok drops it states the warranty. whats the difference in the height of the different cuts ( crew , no show and trail cuff)? thanks
How does the Isolwool blend do in term of breathability and odor suppression compared to the regular wool/nylon blend? I'm concern the polypropylene will be as odor-generating as polyester
wordfool
IMO, regular Fitsock Merino are better on any of those and also are a bit nicer to the touch as well...
Received it a couple days ago and seems good quality. But do people feel them being extra slippery? Not so much feet on socks, but socks on insoles of shoes. I find the socks slip in the shoes much more so than my other socks. is this a Merino wool sock thing?
HarBear
I have several smartwool and defeet Merino wool socks and I do not notice my feet slipping at the union of sock and shoe sole.
I'd have joined in a heartbeat if there was an option for a solid black or grey option.
It's going to be hidden by your shoes thought, unless you rock em with a pair of sandals.
TRON
Purchased Fitsok X Massdrop socks a while ago and thought I'd give my 2c. They are great for me. They're thin but tough, which is perfect for me working in Florida construction. I tried Darn tough, but they were too thick for such a hot environment. Fitsok does seem to shrink a good bit in the wash, but they still fit well. They also 'pill' a good bit, which makes me question their long term viability, but I've been wearing them everyday for nearly two months with no problem.
Any idea what the fabric composition is? I'm looking for percentages.

Woo! We made a difference!
can someone comment in the sizing because the size guide for these is totally different to the sizing for the other Fitsock drop (Fitsok Merino Crew Socks). In these I'd be an L but in the other drop I was an XL
What's the warranty on these? And why is the ship date a month away? I swear, I'd order more from this site if I didn't have to wait so long for the product.
Scrooge
Pretty sure they put the date out there because they order everyone's socks at once at the end of the sale and ship out once they get their inventory. But not entirely sure.
Larges Sold out already :(
Omatic
they are pretty cheap on amazon
Omatic
Damn... Why am I reading the discussion then?
