The FIYTA Aeronautics Collection automatic watch is ready for any mission—be it here on Earth or out in space. Protected with a sapphire crystal, the dial is a sleek matte black and features luminous hands and markers for visibility. Powered by FIYTA’s automatic 30-jewel movement, this watch also has a 45-minute chronograph, intended for timing spacewalks. Made in a limited edition of 520 pieces, the titanium GA8500.HBH model commemorates the Mars-500 mission, which simulated a trip to the rocky red planet by subjecting participants to 520 days in total isolation. Meanwhile, the GA8470.WBB model celebrates the Shenzhou VIII unmanned space flight to the Tiangong I space module, which resulted in China’s first unmanned docking. It uses steel from the rocket that launched the probe, and only 999 pieces were ever made. Finally, the GA8370.WBW model is made of stainless steel with a rotating tachymeter bezel.
Note: At checkout, you'll have your choice of models: GA8500.HBH (base price), GA8470.WBB (+ $200), or GA8370.WBW (- $150).
You could say that space is in FIYTA’s DNA. Since its founding in 1987, the Chinese company has become synonymous with professional space and aeronautics watches—so much so that it actually supplied the pilot behind China’s first manned spaceflight mission, Shenzhou 5, with one of its proven timepieces. Ever since that successful launch in 2003, FIYTA has been providing Chinese astronauts with reliable watches for both ground trainings and spaceflight missions.
