Wooow.
I recently purchased the GA8470.WBB for almost double the Massdrop price. I scoured the web and found only one available at an Indonesian retailer (I am in the US). The watch had stripped crown threads (they are reverse threaded) so the vendor sent the watch back to Fiyta for repair. Fiyta ended up sending a new watch in an old box even though this is a discontinued limited edition. I assume there are some shenanigans at play on the factory side (refurbished watches, previous rejects, etc) but I went ahead with the purchase.
It turned out to be a very high quality watch, and probably one that I will keep. Fit and finish are excellent, and the movement accurate and so far reliable. The bezel is terrible. It is very hard to turn and is not set for 60 or 120 clicks, Fortunately I do not rely on the bezel for anything. The rubber strap is great, and the hinge will allow this watch to wear nicely on smaller wrists. That being said, I think the strap is a little thin/narrow in proportion to the watch case, and the rubber edge next below the Fiyta hinge is not the cleanest.
At the Massdrop price this is a steal, however please be cautious. I think my transaction went smoothly because the retailer I used was an authorized Fiyta dealer and was able to get preferential treatment. I don't think we civilians will have the same success communicating with them and getting a timely repair. The bezel could be repaired under warranty, and while I'm sure the retailer will continue to provide excellent service, I do not consider it worth the time and shipping costs.
