It looks like it's a 12 hour chronograph. What is the bottom dial for it it's not a chronograph hours dial? Also, is it a hacking movement?

Answer0404Could you give a more detail explanation of how the subdials move? Here's what I THINK is the case: 1) Main dial short and thick hand = traditional hour hand completing full rotation in 12h 2) Main dial long and thick hand = traditional minute hand completing full rotation in 60m 3) Main dial long and skinny hand = CHRONO seconds hand, completing full rotation in 60s 4) 12 o'clock subdial = 45 minute CHRONO dial. Hand completes full rotation in 45m 5) 9 o'clock subdial = traditional seconds. Hand completes full rotation in 60s 6) 6 o'clock subdial = 12 hour CHRONO dial. Hand completes full rotation in 12h
First, (3) and (5) may be flipped. That is, the 9 o'clock subdial may be the CHRONO seconds while the skinny main hand may be traditional seconds. Second, how does the 45 minute CHRONO dial work with the 12 hour CHRONO dial?? Or are these completely separate? What happens when your 45 minute CHRONO dial reaches 45 minutes? Does it just stop while the 12 hour CHRONO dial keeps going? Does the 45 minute CHRONO dial restart such that the 12 hour CHRONO dial is actually counting 12 periods of 45 minutes, instead of 12 hours?
I am confuse...

KhyronHi Khyron, let's see if I can clear up some confusion.
You are correct about all of the subdials and hands, the seconds hand on the center pinion is the chrono second hand and the 9 o'clock subdial is traditional running seconds.
As for the 45 minute chrono and 12 hour dial, I am fairly certain that they work independently. The hours dial counts hours and not 12 periods of 45 minutes.

Vincent.HThanks Vincent! So, if I start the chrono and wait 1.5 hours, the 12 o'clock subdial will be pointing up (because that's 2 rounds of 45 minutes) while the 6 o'clock subdial will be pointing between 1 and 2 (because it's 1.5 hours). Correct?

KhyronHi Khyron, you are right. When the hand of 12 o'clock sundial finish one circle, it is 45 minutes, the hand of 6 o'clock subdial will point 3/4 place between 1 and 2 o'clock.
