The white and "gold" is more of a white and brass. The watch is a lot thicker then what i was used to with watches. But the skeleton feature is probably the nicest looking of any skeleton watch in the <1000 dollar range (better looking then hamilton jazzmasters/viewmatics style watches). I am disappointed at the watch being more brown then yellow and having a hybrid clasp/leather band instead of a pure leather band.
